Charis studied Mechanical Engineering at Cambridge — the setting where the founding team first came together. He began his career at Oliver Wyman (London), advising clients across technology, financial services, and energy. He then completed an MBA at Harvard Business School focusing on technology and the bridge between the US and European startup ecosystems. He then joined Merantix, a Berlin based AI focused incubator and investor, helping conceptualize and launch AI-native startups prior to AI’s mainstream adoption. Charis later founded Denario, an AI-powered fintech for digitizing financial documents and B2B payment flows; it was acquired by PandaDoc. He then went on to advise startups and corporates on product, execution, and partnerships.

Christos read Computer Science at Cambridge, first crossing paths with Demetris and Charis. He spent seven years at Ocado developing core IP and helping deploy their robotic pick system across the globe, serving in a Staff Engineering role linking product, data, and engineering from feasibility through monitored production. Earlier at Microsoft, he built 3D visualization tools (Windows 3D Viewer) and cloud services for Sharepoint and Exchange Online. His focus: reliable, production-grade perception and automation that move operational metrics in the real world.

Demetris studied Physics at the University of Cambridge, where he met Christos and Charis. He later earned an MSc at Warwick’s Visualization Group and a PhD in Deep Learning for Imaging, inventing novel state of the art Neural Networks for HDR imaging. He has built end-to-end industrial CV systems with partners listed in the Fortune 500, spanning data capture, labeling, bespoke models, and MLOps. After a research post at Warwick, he joined OpenInvest as a data scientist on portfolio optimization and NLP with LLMs. Following its acquisition, he worked as a Vice President Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase.
